Day time temperature and length suddenly dropped in the mid month.
Float trip on the Yellowstone River is still going on. Streamers can bring large brown trout!!
Spring Creeks are fishing so well: big trout are swimming up to the creeks for spawning.
Fall baetis hatch is superb!!
Enjoy while you can!!!

Took a little break from float trips and spring creeks, instead headed to a smaller stream for walk & wade fishing. Water still runs cold. Trout may not be big all the time but feisty. Actually pickier than I anticipated š . Oh and hoppers in Whooper sizes are hopping and singing along the stream now!!
One of the few things in the world that consistently and promisingly happens to every year = Pale Morning Dun hatches on Livingstonās...
