Yellowstone River Runoff

It's finally a runoff season on the Yellowstone River. The river repeated up and down from mid April and through May. There were a few windows to float and fish actually.
I know, I know, the flow values = CFS (cubic feet per second) = would not look too high for the river that usually records 20,000 normally, 30,000 easily, and over 50,000 three years ago!! But don't judge summer flows based on these numbers.
I'd like to say it's a SLOW MELTING RUNOFF. Night time temperatures in late May were cool. That was why the river subsided and looked even fishable.
Viewing south from Livingston and driving through the Paradise Valley and in Yellowstone National Park, mountain peaks are still covered with snow. Especially, I've never seen those nearby peaks to Livingston are still white at this time of the year.
